Youth Construct’s 2025 graduation was nothing short of extraordinary. Held at the stunning Amazon JFK Hangar, the evening set a bold tone for what’s ahead. Thanks to the creative vision from Simply Events, the event space was transformed into a celebration worthy of our graduates’ achievements.
The evening was guided by the energy and charm of Justin Pack, Amazon’s Principal IXT Business Partner, who served as our host and kept spirits high all night long.
One of the most powerful moments came from Carrie Torres, Director of the Opportunity Programs Group at DASNY, who delivered an unforgettable keynote. A longtime friend and champion of Youth Construct, Carrie encouraged our graduates to embrace change, believe in their worth, and take their rightful seat at any table—with grit, confidence, and courage.
From heartfelt speeches to proud families and joyful students, the night was filled with celebration, reflection, and inspiration. The future is in good hands—and Cohort ’25 proved it.
New York Build Expo is hosted every year at the Javits Center as the largest construction and design show in the Tri-State area, bringing together industry leaders (CEO, COOs, Presidents), architects, developers, and government agencies. For students, it’s a rare chance to network with professionals, discover career pathways, and gain exposure to cutting-edge innovations shaping the built environment. This is a way for students to build their professional development skills by pitching the organization to get to know us, but for them to build opportunities to possibly get an introduction for a internship.
